Hi all! My name is Ashley. Since this is my very first post--first blog EVER actually, I'd like to take the opportunity to tell you all a little about myself.
The past year, and into 2009 have brought about some major life changes and accomplishments for me. For one thing, I got married to the love of my life - Matt, and in two months will be celebrating our first wedding anniversary. I also graduated from IADT for Graphic Design. But most importantly, I am also a proud parent to a beautiful 4 month old baby girl named Paris Athena who I love more than words could ever describe.
Now, as I'm sure you can imagine, a wedding, school bills, and now a baby, tend to bring about a lot of money being forked out to expenses and of course, necessities needed for my little one. The way I see it, if there's anywhere I can save a buck, then I'll do it. And of course, if it's free --even better!
This is actually why I decided to make this blog. Unfortunately, I'm too impatient to wait and see if there will
maybe be a sale or occasional coupon in the stack of flyers I receive every Friday. Plus if there is one thing I really can't stand, its these 'so-called' freebies for all kinds of flashy products you see on the internet--except you have to go through like 10 different offers of buying things before you can get the free item. Who wants to do that? Well, I know I don't.
So instead, I go around looking for these coupons or freebies myself, which I found works out a lot better than just waiting for
coupons or
free stuff to just 'hopefully' come my way. Turns out there are loads of companies just dying to give out their products to consumers for free, who woulda thunk! Plus, why not share it with others right.
Finally, my goal is to post at least 1 or 2 deals every day with:
- a brief description of what the coupon, freebie, sample is about
- what you need to do to get it (if anything)
- how long its on for
- what country its valid in (I live in Canada but I will also post for things in other countries if I come across it)
Plus, if you know of any great deals or freebies or even want to warn us about any bad ones, feel free to post your comments.
